Proudly one of the leading companies in today’s technological reality, Affinity is preparing to close its 9th year of activity as another year of evolution both in terms of business volume, with registered progress in the various financial indicators, as well as in terms of talent growth, counting with 400 employees in December 2021.
In 2021, Affinity maintained its business development strategy at a national and international level, prioritizing the quality of the IT consulting services offered, and the satisfaction of those who perform them. In addition to having once again been a year of solid hirings, our Lifetime Experience took us further, opening opportunities of internal mobility that made possible for employees of the Affinity management team to take on different positions more aligned with their professional motivations.
As part of the continuous process of organizational innovation, Ana Baptista was promoted to the highest position in the company in the area of operations management (Chief Operations Officer) and Catarina Simões in the area of people management (Chief People Officer), two professionals with a strong alignment with the company’s values and vision. Additionally, we witnessed an interesting flow of return of former employees, who joined us again to continue their lifetime experience, something that reflects well the way we position ourselves.
In 2022, our ambition will lead us to do more and better, a year in which hiring the best professionals will continue to be our focus.
A strong growth is expected with the hiring of local and international recruitment and talent management specialists, with junior and advanced levels of experience, as well as Business Managers endowed with negotiation, project management and commercial skills. Similarly, to the area of recruitment, also in the area of Business, we are looking for professionals with different levels of experience, including a Business Unit Manager position, a role with a strong leadership and team management component.
Affinity’s multidisciplinary Technological Consulting team will also continue to expand, anticipating a strong hiring in technological profiles such as in software development, web and mobile development, skills in .NET, JAVA or Outsystems. UX/UI professionals, testers, analysts, support, cybersecurity, Business Intelligence, data engineers, database administrators, system administrators and project management – such as tech leads and delivery managers, Cloud technology experts, AI, AR and MR, needs that are aligned with current global technological trends.
With these perspectives in mind, we anticipate a global operational growth above 30% and a global headcount growth of 27% next year.
The coming year will bring new online and offline experiences with the aim of maintaining proximity and foster the team spirit and ‘Affinity’ that we defend and believe.
Learning opportunities will also be a constant, in a year in which we will continue to organize and launch relevant Webinars and where the Affinity Learning & Career department will ensure that pertinent training opportunities will be held throughout the year, always focusing on the motivations and interests of our people as well as the most expressive technological trends.
We ended 2021 with a very positive balance, ready for the challenges that the coming year represents. Proud of another year of growth, perseverance, and innovation.
