Last Saturday, February 22, Affinity gave its employees the opportunity of putting their affinity into action dedicating their time and affection to a very special cause that started with the question: “Can you resist to a Love with Paws?”
During the first weeks of February, Affinity employees were asked to contribute with donations such as food, toys, blankets and other items that could bring comfort to the lives of the dogs hosted by UPPA. For this initiative to be complete, on Saturday morning, not only did we deliver the donations, but we spent our morning walking the dogs around Sintra and sharing some beautiful and enjoyable moments with them!
UPPA – Union for the Protection of Animals, is a non-profit organization, concerned with Animal rights and well-being. UPPA counts with support, financial donations, donation of goods and the unconditional effort of volunteers and friends!
With a growing concern for the world, Affinity wanted to contribute to this beautiful cause collecting more than 200 Kg of dog food and about 100 other items such as toys, hygiene and comfort products among others. The company assumes its commitment to Social and Environmental Responsibility aiming to unite employees in the defense of pertinent causes with which they most identify. The initiatives dynamized by Affinity will be inserted in the three vectors: defense of nature, animals and children and will give shape to the signature #ACaringExperience.
Therefore, a 2020 full of solidarity begins with this beautiful collaboration with UPPA, to whom we thank for the opportunity to meet and spend such a special Saturday morning! We started this new week with our hearts full, already thinking about the next opportunity to give our best in favour of a new cause. We believe that more than ever the world needs love and unity around the issues and causes that really need our attention.
