Believing (Acreditar) is not one of our 4 values, but it could easily be. Because we believe we play an active part in the world we live in and we must do our share for a world with more Affinity.
Having that in mind, this Christmas, Affinity posed a challenge to its employees: to be the Secret Santa of a child from Associação Acreditar – a non-profit organization dedicated to guaranteeing the rights and promoting the quality of life of children with cancer as well as their family and friends.
To make this possible, at the company’s Christmas events in Lisbon and in Oporto, employees were asked to bring a gift for a child up to 12 years old. An optional offer and entirely at the employee’s choice.
The initiative was a real success and given the huge adhesion of Affinity employees around 200 gifts were delivered to the manager of Acreditar’s North region to be delivered during the Association’s National Christmas Party that will be taking place in Oporto this Saturday, December 14th.
Bringing together the 3 Acreditar representations in Portugal, during the event all children will have presents chosen and offered by Affinity employees. This was an initiative that made us extremely proud, with an outcome that left us with a deep sense of gratitude and accomplishment.
