September is always a month of new beginnings. The holidays are closed and its now the time for new chapters, challenges, and learnings. Affinity’s 1st Semester of the year was made up of focus, adjustment, and achievements, where despite the adversities imposed, the company sought to meet all its commitments, including maintaining and adapting the training and workshops proposed for the period. By adopting the 100% online format, Affinity employees have not been deprived of unique learning opportunities, these were only readjusted to the new circumstances.
With the first semester closed and after summer been enjoyed, the atmosphere of reset and resumption at the various levels of the company is now clear, with no exception for the Learning & Career area that is preparing to inaugurate the second semester of Affinity Talks and Training.
This second semester will open with a very practical Affinity Talk about Kubernetes, challenging employees to learn how to create Kubernetes clusters as well as how to implement, explore and update an app. This Talk will be followed by a Node.js certification in early October and a Vue.js certification during the month of November. The year will end with an Affinity Talk about Design Patterns.
Affinity’s Learning & Career department seeks to respond in an adjusted way to the needs and preferences of its employees. Our aim is to offer useful and diversified topics, guaranteeing the inclusion, interest, quality and satisfaction of our people and a real contribution to their career evolution.
Despite the difficulties and necessary adjustments in the first 6 months of the year, Affinity is proud of the very positive balance of its Learning area. The training programs offered have captured a great interest and the attendance levels where above 90%. For the 2nd Semester, the company remains committed and focused on offering value to its people and growing the business in a efficient and sustained manner.
