The Festival das Bandas de Empresas is back

Forum Student is a partner in the only Festival of Bands of Companies in the World.

Returning to work does not have to be a bummer … In September several companies are starting to prepare, more intensively, their participation in the Festival Brands Like Bands, the only Festival of the World with Bands of Companies.

Taking place in Porto, in the Hard-Club, and in Lisbon, in the Time Out Market, on October 7 and 21, respectively, the Festival has a new year, with the participation of bands composed of students from the University of Porto, the New University of Lisbon and the Instituto Superior Técnico.

Internally we felt the need, and we also heard the companies, that it would be interesting to develop and connect the Festival with the Universities, which are the cradle of many future collaborators and many bands, and also show the students a certain “B side” of the companies, more cool and outgoing. And so, this year, we invited some university bands; and we are already thinking and trying to understand what we can do, in the future, so that we are differentiators, since this is the great brand of the Festival. – said Sílvia Pouseiro, from the Brands Like Bands Festival Organization.

The poster, designed by Ivity, was inspired by the early years of rock’n’roll. This year’s ticket revenue is fully reimbursed to two institutions: the Associação NOMEIODONADA and its Kastelo, a Continuous and Palliative Care Unit for children and young people up to the age of eighteen, and the IPO Lisbon Breast Radiology Unit.
