Easter is the perfect opportunity to make a difference in the world and spread joy and hope in a sweet way! That’s why, during Easter week, we sent all Affinity employees a sweet surprise with a special message!
It never hurts to remind our teams how proud we are to have them as part of Affinity’s history, mission, and goals, and to take every opportunity to make our gestures even more special by contributing to the greater good. With this in mind, this Easter we teamed up with Make-a-Wish to deliver chocolates to our employees while helping to fulfil the dreams of seriously ill children as part of the Association’s projects.
Affinity has collaborated with Make-a-Wish on other occasions and recognizes and supports its importance and impact. The organization’s mission is to make wishes come true for children and young people aged 3 to 17 throughout Portugal with serious, progressive, degenerative, or malignant diseases, giving them a moment of joy. They capture the child’s wish, organize it and fund it with the support of partners and donors. For Make-A-Wish, the fulfilment of a wish has the power to change a life, offering strength and hope!
For Affinity, it is a priority to give back to society by taking an active, positive, and real role. One of the vectors of our social responsibility is the protection and defense of children’s rights, so whenever possible we join in with initiatives and associations of this nature – offering our contribution to the social environment in which we operate. Once again, we are happy to have this positive impact with Make-a-Wish and to be part of our employees’ Easter!
