With the eyes on Web Summit 2020-28!
Last week, Lisbon was once again the scene of the most important technology and innovation event in the world and Affinity couldn’t miss this unparallel opportunity to meet with the key players in the sector.
It has been four days of innovation, ideas, knowledge, creativity and technology presented and discussed at conferences, workshops and conversations that always leave us with an incredible sense of seeing the future happening in our eyes.
For Affinity this was a crucial opportunity to bolster its Nearshore solution, taking advantage of the context to establish important business synergies with potential partners and international clients. During the days of the summit, several meetings were held between Affinity’s top managers and the heads of the participating companies. Angelo Machado, Chief Business Officer, said “Web Summit has an unmatched energy and potential. It is extremely important for Affinity to make the most of this opportunity to introduce the company and get the conversation started with international companies that privilege the exact ideals we stand for: technology, relationships and innovation.”
Following the success of this participation, Carlos Pais Correia, CEO of Affinity, enthusiastically confirms the company’s participation on future editions of the Web Summit, from 2020 to 2028, adding: “It’s amazing to see how this event has grown in such a remarkable and sustained way over the years and think that next year will be no exception with an already announced space amplification! Amongst the 200 exhibitors present at this edition about 30% were national or regional stands that took the opportunity to promote their entrepreneurial fabric, technologies and talent which reflects and underlines the potential of this event for a very positive sharing of knowledge and innovation.”
In fact, this edition of the event recorded a turnout record, with over 70,000 attendees and contributions from 1,206 speakers who, over the days, presented their views on areas as diverse as data protection, sustainability, democracy, technology and innovation trends in areas such as health, sports, transport or leisure.
