Affinity Announces Henrique Sousa as Chief Growth & Leadership Officer Starting in 2026

Lisbon, — December 15, 2025

Affinity names Henrique Sousa as Chief Growth & Leadership Officer (CGLO), effective January 2026. This naming represents another milestone in Affinity’s strategy of sustained growth and a clear commitment to developing internal talent and leaders formed within the organization.

Henrique Sousa began his career at Affinity as a Business Manager, progressing to Business Unit Manager (BUM) of BU Nexus, one of the units with the greatest impact on Affinity’s growth, operational maturity, and talent development. His trajectory reflects Affinity’s intrapreneurship model, where performance, culture, and ambition translate into real leadership opportunities.

As BUM of Nexus, Henrique distinguished himself through his ability to build autonomous teams, develop intermediate leaders, ensure sustained growth, and strengthen the link between culture, performance, and accountability. These pillars were the foundation for the creation of the Chief Growth & Leadership Officer role, a position designed to guarantee coherence, scale, and depth in Affinity’s leadership as the company expands its number of internal companies. In 2026, the company aims to create two new Business Units, one in Porto and one in Lisbon, reinforcing its national presence and its capacity to meet the growing demand from its local and nearshore clients.

In his new role, Henrique Sousa will be responsible for defining and executing Affinity’s global leadership strategy, including the identification, training, and monitoring of leaders, cultural alignment across Business Units and geographies, and the consolidation of a governance model based on autonomy, accountability, and continuous learning.

The Chief Global Leadership Officer function emerges at a key moment in Affinity’s cycle and is directly linked to the implementation of the Mini-MBA for Internal CEO, a structured advanced training program designed to prepare leaders to manage Business Units as true CEOs. This program will cover topics such as strategy, P&L, leadership, governance, culture, decision-making, risk management, and sustainable growth, aligned with Affinity’s vision and values.

According to Carlos Correia, CEO of Affinity,

“Henrique’s journey is a clear example of what we believe in: leaders who grow with us, who know the organization from the inside, and who prove, in the field, their capacity to build business and people. The creation of the CGLO role and his appointment are clear signs of Affinity’s maturity and the ambition with which we enter 2026.”

With this new organizational model, Affinity reinforces its commitment to valuing internal talent and to a leadership prepared to support the goal of surpassing 1,000 employees and reaching €50M in turnover in the next decade.
